Affinity Workshops
We host full-day workshops co-located with the premier conferences in the field. These events are a platform for our members to present their research, engage with invited speakers, and participate in enriching discussions and mentoring sessions
Social Networking events
Beyond our main workshops, LXAI is committed to building a strong, interconnected community. We host social events at other key conferences to help our members connect, network, and exchange ideas in an informal setting

As a chair or organizer, you'll be a leader in planning and executing our events. This involves everything from coordinating with conference staff and securing venues to managing speaker invitations and overseeing the paper submission process. This role requires a regular, weekly commitment, especially in the months leading up to the conference. The call for organizers opens approximately six months prior to each conference. Have an exciting research project you want to share? Submit your work to our workshop! We open submissions roughly four months before each conference. Your paper will go through a rigorous peer-review process, and if accepted, you'll get the opportunity to present your work to a diverse and engaged audience of fellow researchers and practitioners.

Are you an experienced researcher looking to contribute to the community? Become a reviewer! Your expertise is crucial for helping us select high-quality papers for our workshop. You'll be responsible for scoring submissions and providing valuable feedback to authors. As a thank you for your contributions, reviewers are eligible to receive a certification of participation.

Join our team and help make the workshop a success on the day of the event! Volunteers assist with essential logistical tasks, such as managing registration, directing attendees, and helping with technical setup. If you are attending the conference and want to contribute to the LatinX in AI community, we invite you to participate as a volunteer. While authors are welcome to volunteer, this role is open to anyone who wants to lend a hand
Did you know our papers are published?
When you submit and get your work accepted at the LXAI workshop, you have the option to also publish it in our official journal. This provides an additional opportunity to share your research with a broader academic audience and build your publication record.
